2017 Chongming Island one-day tour

    At the end of November, the company organized all employees to take a one-day trip to Mingzhu Lake on Chongming Island, taking advantage of the lingering autumn weather. On Saturday morning, we drove across the Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge to a small town on Chongming Island and had a delicious farmhouse stay. After eating and drinking, we began to explore Mingzhu Lake.

    Mingzhu Lake is located in Lvhua Town, western part of Chongming Island. It is currently the largest natural inland lake on the island and the main area of the water amusement resort and ecological agriculture tourism area in the western part of Chongming Island. It is the core component of Chongming Island National Geopark, the location of the monument of Chongming Island National Geopark, and the only natural wetland in Shanghai with natural tide phenomenon and a lot of mudflat and woodlands. Walking along the red plastic fitness track around the lake, looking at the lush greenery by the lake, the view is broad, and the gentle breeze brushes my face, making me very comfortable. It takes 8 kilometers to circle around the lake, which can be walked or run. The natural scenery is beautiful, and the lake water is clear to the bottom.

   As the sun slowly sets, it's time for us to return from our day of sightseeing. The beautiful scenery and joy we experienced during our trip will forever be etched in our memories.
