On the weekend, the weather cleared up and the company colleagues and their families arrived in Zhouzhuang, Suzhou with a long-awaited mood. As soon as they got off the car, everyone was already attracted by the ancient and beautiful scenery. The tour guide first took us to visit the former residence of Shen Wansan, located in the east of Zhouzhuang Town. As soon as we entered, we saw the typical architectural layout of the "front hall and back hall". There were seven entrances and five gatehouses, and the fifth entrance was the middle, where the sitting statue of Shen Wansan, a wealthy man from Jiangnan, was placed, like a wealthy family. In front of him was a golden treasure trove. Colleagues eagerly touched the treasure trove, hoping to gain some wealth. Later, the tour guide took everyone to visit the Shide and Yong'an bridges located in the center of Zhouzhuang, which were built in the Ming Dynasty and connected to each other, resembling ancient keys. Everyone took photos on the bridges.
At noon, we tasted the delicious local cuisine in Zhouzhuang, among which Shen Wansan's trotters were particularly special. It was truly unforgettable!
In the afternoon, it is free time. Some colleagues continue to walk through the ancient street to enjoy the flowing houses. Some colleagues gather in the teahouse to taste Dim sum and enjoy a moment of comfort in the warm sun.
In the evening, everyone boarded the journey home with a reluctant heart. This autumn outing deeply impressed us with the charm of Zhouzhuang Ancient Street and also promoted friendly communication among colleagues.
